Hong Kong Maritime Week Orienteering Race 2024

Time：9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Organizer: Hong Kong Seamen's Union（HKSU) Supporting Organization: Hong Kong Orienteering Club (HKOC) Start and Ceremony Venue: Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park, Sheung Wan Competition Area: Hong Kong Island Coast Competition Format: Score orienteering format. Within the time limit 90 mins, arrive various check points and answer maritime industry related questions to gain score, the team get the highest score will be the winner. Early Bird Discount Deadline: Thursday, 10th October 2024 Entry Deadline: Wednesday, 23rd October 2024 Entry will be closed when participants reach 750 persons. Awards： Open Classes and Corporate Class (2p. per group) Champion - $500 sports coupon, Trophy Cup, Medals, Four HK-Macau Round Trip Ferry Tickets. 1st Runner-up - $300 sports coupon, Medals, Two HK-Macau Round Trip Ferry Tickets. 2nd Runner-up - $200 sports coupon, Medals, One HK-Macau Round Trip Ferry Tickets. The best 3 runners in each class will be awarded with personal medals. (If entry of a class is less than 3 teams, only the champion will be awarded)
In addition, the best HKOC members in the Elite Classes (ME/WE) are entitled to keep the male/female Committee Cup respectively for one year.
Minimum age is 10 for all classes.

The 44th Annual General Meeting was successfully held at Ko Shan Road Theater on 26 November 2023. At the AGM, the 23rd Executive Committee was also elected.
There was a sprint practice event held at East Ho Man Tin Sitting Out Area after the AGM.
