Time Limit for Parent & Child Class is 90 mins.
Time limit for all other classes is 120 mins.

Hong Kong Maritime Week Orienteering Race 202130th October 2021 (Saturday) to 1st November 2021 (Monday)(Select one competition day only) Event Time:9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. each day Start Time: 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. (There will have 10 teams start per 30 minutes section, please select starting date and time section in this form) Organizer: Hong Kong Seamen's Union (HKSU) Supporting Organization: Hong Kong Orienteering Club (HKOC) Start Location: Hong Kong Maritime Museum ( Central Pier No. 8, Hong Kong Island) Competition Area: Both sides of Victoria Harbour Competition Format: Score orienteering format, Time Limit 240 mins. Within the time limit, arrive various check points and answer maritime industry related questions to gain score, the team get the highest score will be the winner. Late arrival to the Finish will deduct score. Late arrival more than 10 minutes will not be ranked. The competition will use smart phone (Android V4.4 or above, IOS 9.0 or above) application for punching, timing and result processing. Competing team requires to install an APP in one mobile phone and ensure the APP is working properly during the competition. Switch on Global Positioning System GPS) is required. No internet connection is required after competition start and before arrive the Finish. Operational details of the APP will be published two weeks before the competition. HKOC GPS Orienteering Series 2 2021
Due to COVID-19 pandemic is still exist and the restriction of social gathering, there are no regular orienteering for a long time, HKOC continues to organize the HKOC GPS O Series 2 with 6 events.
We will use the MapRun6 application, which is developed by an Australian orienteer for GPS based punching. You may read more about the MapRun6 application and the MapRunG to connect to your Garmin watch model with Connect IQ function at the official web site https://maprunners.weebly.com/ . Run with a printed map and use one of the following ways to record punching, upload result and check track:
1. A smart phone installed with MapRun6 app;
